Welcome to Ardilea Childcare – The small creche with the big heart! We are not part of a large chain and our ethos is to provide a warm, friendly and homely environment for your child to grow.

Our creche and preschool is situated in Ardilea Crescent, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14. Our facilities are brand new, purpose built and with lots of light. Being boutique we have the capacity to focus on each child. Our highly trained and dedicated staff provide the best childcare services for children from 1 to 5 years. We follow the Aistear Education Framework that embraces children’s well-being, identity and belonging, communicating, exploring and thinking. We also actively encourage outdoor play.

At Ardilea we provide the highest quality food and serve tasty and nutritious snacks and meals so your little ones can grow and blossom.

The Early Childhood Care and Education Programme (ECCE) is a free, universal two-year preschool programme available to all children within the eligible age range funded by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth (DCEDIY). It provides children with their first formal experience of early learning prior to commencing primary school.

Aistear / Síolta

Childcare services taking part in the ECCE Programme must provide an appropriate preschool educational programme which adheres to the principles of Síolta and Aistear. Aistear is the early childhood curriculum framework for all children from birth to 6 years in Ireland. The framework uses four interconnected themes to describe children’s learning and development: Well-being; Identity and Belonging; Communicating; and Exploring and Thinking.
